Educated in Australia with a Bachelor of Aeronautical Eng. and a PhD from the University of Sydney and holder of commercial pilot license.

Worked for many years in Qantas Airways and the Australian Aircraft Manufacturing Industry on the design and production of civilian and military aircrafts in conjunction with Boeing, Macdonald Douglas and Hawker De Havilland.

Advisor to a number to governments, airport authorities, and airlines on aviation liberalisation, commercialization, privatisation and restructuring

Helped established many Universities, Aerospace Faculties, and Aviation Technical Training Centres between Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

Served as a Member of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) representing Lebanon and a member of the Airport Council International (ACI-Asia Pacific),

Served as an advisor to the Ministry of Transport in Lebanon for 6 years before he was appointed to the post of Director General of Civil Aviation of Lebanon in 2002.

He has published numerous research publications on aviation engineering and management and presented numerous papers in international conferences & seminars on aviation strategy, planning, liberalisation, restructuring and globalisation.
